Booking & Payments
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, appointments must be booked in advance to ensure availability. I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekend and evening appointments.
Do you accept card payments?
Yes, I accept card and contactless payments, as well as cash.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes! Digital gift vouchers are available in £10, £25, £50, and £100 amounts and are valid for 12 months. They make the perfect present for birthdays, Christmas, or just because!
Location & Parking
Where is Beach Beauty located?
I’m based in Maidens, near Turnberry, in a peaceful home-based salon by the sea. The exact address is 71 Ardlochan Road, Maidens, South Ayrshire KA26 9NS. You can find me using What3Words: ///openings.shampoo.given.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is free on-street parking right outside the salon.

Treatments & Recommendations
I’m not sure which facial to book—can you help?
Of course! I offer a range of facials tailored to different skin types and concerns. If you're unsure, book a consultation, and I’ll assess your skin and recommend the perfect treatment for you.
Do you offer skincare advice and products for purchase?
Yes! I’m a Tropic Skincare Ambassador, and you can purchase natural, cruelty-free skincare products through my affiliate link. I’m happy to recommend products that will work best for your skin concerns.
Do you offer packages for brides?
Absolutely! I offer bespoke Bridal Beauty Packages to help you achieve glowing skin before your wedding day. These can include regular facials, body treatments, and brow shaping in the months leading up to your wedding. Get in touch for a consultation.
What are the best treatments to have before Christmas or party season?
For that festive glow, I recommend a luxury facial and a full-body massage a week before your event, followed by a manicure and pedicure a day or two before. A lash lift and tint will also give your eyes a wide-awake look without mascara.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Q: What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?
I completely understand that life sometimes gets in the way — things crop up unexpectedly! All I ask is that you give me as much notice as possible so I can offer your slot to someone else.
Cancelling or rescheduling your appointment
If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please give at least 48 hours’ notice where possible. This gives me the best chance of offering the appointment to another client.
Cancellations with 24 to 48 hours’ notice
If you cancel or rearrange your appointment with between 24 and 48 hours’ notice, a charge of 50% of the treatment cost may apply if I am unable to fill your appointment slot.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice
Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at 100% of the treatment cost.
No-shows
If you do not attend your appointment and have not contacted me, the full treatment cost will be charged.
Repeated short-notice cancellations
Clients who repeatedly cancel or rearrange appointments at short notice may be asked to pay in advance for future bookings.
As a self-employed therapist, every booking counts — last-minute cancellations have a real impact on my small business. Thank you so much for your understanding and for valuing my time as much as I value yours.
Privacy & Comfort
Will my treatment be private?
Yes! My treatment room is a peaceful, private space, so you can fully relax and enjoy your experience.
Do I need to undress for a massage?
For most massages, you will need to undress to your underwear, but you will be covered with towels at all times, and only the area being worked on will be uncovered. If you’re unsure or prefer to wear light clothing, just let me know.
General Questions
Can I bring a friend or family member?
As my salon is a private space, treatments are one-to-one, so I kindly ask that you come alone. However, if you require assistance, please let me know in advance.
Do you offer mobile treatments?
At the moment, all treatments are carried out in my salon, where I can provide a professional and relaxing experience.
I’m pregnant, can I still have treatments?
Yes! I offer a pregnancy-safe massage and facials tailored for expectant mothers. Please let me know how far along you are when booking so I can ensure your comfort.
Can men book treatments?
Yes! Many of my treatments, including facials and massages, are suitable for men.
